About The Long Game

The Long Game is about one simple idea: staying strong, capable, and independent for the decades ahead.

I help adults over 50 build strength, improve balance, and move well, so they can keep doing the things they love, for as long as possible. Whether that’s hiking up hills, playing with grandchildren, travelling, or simply feeling confident in your body day to day, this is training with a purpose.

Why I started The Long Game

After more than ten years teaching yoga, I began to notice something important. Many of the people in my classes were active and mobile but they were missing a key piece of the puzzle: strength.

I’d always been interested in longevity, and I could see how strength training, alongside balance and mobility work, could make a huge difference, not just now, but years down the line. So I started introducing these elements into a functional strength circuits class.… and the impact was clear.

My approach

This isn’t about quick fixes or intense fitness trends. It’s about training in a way that supports your body for the long term.

We focus on:

  • Building real, functional strength
  • Improving balance and stability
  • Maintaining and restoring mobility
  • Moving with confidence and control

Everything is designed to be effective, approachable, and sustainable, no matter your starting point.

Why it matters

Getting older doesn’t have to mean getting weaker or less capable. With the right kind of training, you can stay strong, steady, and independent for years to come.

That’s what The Long Game is all about.
